Pietruska, a graduate of Westfield State University, has a background in marketing, communications and entertainment. She comes to Mellowship from Eastern States Exposition, home of The Big E, where she was the organization’s Brand Content & Entertainment Coordinator.
At The Big E, Pietruska was primarily responsible for social media strategy and implementation, design and management of the organization’s websites and mobile app, online ticketing, writing for the media and copywriting for print publications and web, all in-house graphic design and community outreach.
In the special events realm, Pietruska revamped The Big E’s entertainment program as a talent buyer and played a key role in the development and promotion of numerous events, exhibits and attractions that lived under The Big E umbrella. She played an instrumental role in the Collector Car Experience, TwinE Country Fest, Electric Equinox and many more.
Her biggest triumph was the Masters of Music program, a local music initiative, which provided a platform for emerging artists to showcase at local events and The Big E. After three years, Masters of Music morphed into a permanent emerging artist stage at The Big E, The E Stage.
Pietruska is a member of several industry organizations, serves on the Board of Directors for the Hampden County Improvement League and is Vice President of the Hampden County 4-H Fair Association.
